Some raging Hausa cart pushers in Jakande Estate, Oke-afa, Ejigbo area of Lagos State, have thrown residents into pandemonium over the alleged kidnap of their colleague, an eyewitness told Pulse News.
It was gathered that the unrest started after an Hausa man claimed that he was kidnapped by suspected ritualists at Kayode Adebanji/Olusola Ige street, off Unity Road, and tied up in a twin-duplex in the area.
The victim was said to have somehow untied himself, unknown to his alleged abductors, and hid in the building's roof, where he called his colleagues via the telephone to come to his rescue.
"An Aboki cart pusher put a call through to his colleagues claiming that some people from the house kidnapped him and tied his hand for ritual purpose," the witness, who did not want to be named, told Pulse News on the phone.
As at the time of filing this report, policemen were said to have arrived at the scene to curtail the violent Hausa men.
